C.S. – ADP and TOP programmes to be phased out; to be replaced by EDP |
The ICSI proposes to phase out ADP (Academic Development Program) and TOP (Training Orientation Program) of three and five days each respectively and proposes to replaces these with EDP (Education Development Program) of eight days’ duration. No confirmation about the same has yet come from the Institute. Watch this space for updates in future. |

Trading Hours on Stock Exchanges Circular No. SEBI/DNPD/Cir-47/2009, dated 23-10-2009 In consultation with the Stock Exchanges and other market participants, it has been decided to permit the Stock Exchanges to set their trading hours (in the cash and derivatives segments) subject to the condition that a. The trading hours are between 9 AM and 5 PM, and b. The Exchange has in place risk management system and infrastructure commensurate to the trading hours. |

C.S. Students to submit only one response sheet per subject |
As per ICSI’s decision taken on 11th July, 2009, C.S. students will be required to submit only one mandatory response sheet per subject as against the three response sheets per subject criteria earlier. Students may submit all the response sheets also if they want their papers assessed. Minimum 40% marks are to be secured per subject in the response sheets to secure the Coaching Completion Certificate. |
